Reunited and It Feels So Good

It’s been a awhile since I’ve posted anything and with good reason. Things got extreme for a little while. I started a full time job and it took forever for them to find someone to work opposite shifts as me so I could go to part time. My brother-in-law, his wife, and three kids moved into our basement for a couple of months until they could get back on their feet. And I was getting the rest of the pieces in place for my Books and Chocolate event.

The dust has finally settled and today is my first full day off with my new part time schedule. The family has found an apartment and moved out a few weeks ago, and my Books and Chocolate event is now over. I figured it was time to play catch up with my posts on social media and my website since I was in survival mode for the last couple of months.

I’ve been so detached from my books, it’s going to take some time to get myself immersed back into my world, but I’m excited to get started. This is the most important book to get right, since I have so many strings to tie up. I had another brain storming session with my husband because I started getting overwhelmed again on what direction to go. My husband is a pretty great guy! He throws ideas at me and seems to get really excited about the world I’ve created. I’m grateful to have him.

I’m chomping at the bit to get started on my next book, but I have to finish the trilogy first. I’m not sure whether I’m going to write another trilogy ever again. It feels like a lot of pressure. I guess we’ll see when the time comes.

I hope you are all well and if I don’t get a chance to post again soon, have a wonderful holiday season!
